In seiner berühmten Schrift “Vom Nutzen und Nachteil der Historie für das Leben” warnte Friedrich Nietzsche, dessen 100. Geburtstag in diesem Jahr begangen wird, vor dem Sog des Totengerichts. Die Geschichte, sagt er, muß den Lebenden dienen. Jeder für Menschen wirksame Erzählstrom wird deshalb die Historie verändern. Die Autorin und Nietzsche-Forscherin Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Bronfen von der Universität Zürich bringt die Thesen Nietzsches in Zusammenhang mit den Praktiken des Hollywood-Films.
