Das objektive Beobachten baut zwischen dem subjektiven Betrachter und der Objektwelt einen vehementen Gegensatz auf. Dabei stehen, sagt Prof. Dr. Lorraine Daston, heute drei Fragen im Vordergrund: 1. Warum haben wir überhaupt Bewusstsein? 2. Was ist der Ursprung der Sprache? 3. Was wissen wir von der Entstehung der Naturgesetze im Kosmos?
